Hello there! We will use this space to address some commonly asked questions.

  • What is Tuck Black Ski?
    • Tuck Black Ski is an annual weekend seeking to bring together Black MBAs from top programs for a weekend full of connections, skiing, and celebrations. It’s hosted by the Black Students Association at Tuck (BSAT) from Dartmouth College. Last year, we had over 350 attendees and are looking forward to an even larger turnout for 2023!
  • When and where can I purchase my tickets?
  • What all is included in my package?
    • All packages will include lodging and access to all Tuck Black Ski events. Airfare is not included. You will have the opportunity to add roundtrip airport transfers and ski lift tickets for an additional price within the portal.
  • How do I register a partner/friend?
    • Everyone must register individually. Have your partner/friend use this registration link to complete their profile.
  • Can I buy a package without lodging but still get access to the events (social package)?
    • As of 12/20, we have a limited amount of social packages available (<30). These will be available for purchase until 12/31. Click here to purchase.
  • Do I have to pay everything all at once?
    • Payment plans are available to split the package cost into 3 scheduled payments. The package must be paid in full no later than December 15.
  • Are you guys coordinating group ski lessons for everyone?
    • Not at this time. We wanted to give everyone the freedom to opt into their own snow activity adventures based on their comfort levels. Our team will try to look into coordinating this following the close of registration. In the meantime, you and your classmates are more than welcome to coordinate this yourselves.
  • I signed up, who am I rooming with?
    • Roommate signups launched in mid-December. Final condo/roommate assignments will be sent to all registrants via email after the holidays! If you missed signups, you will be randomly placed but can email tuckblackskiweekend@gmail.com and we will try our best to accommodate your preferences!
  • What’s the cancellation policy?
    • The $400 down payment at registration is not refundable from our team. However, if you opted into travel insurance, you may open a claim to retrieve your payment. Details on your policy and how to open a claim was sent directly to you upon purchase from the provider.
    • LODGING
      • Lodging is non-refundable
    • LIFT TICKETS
      • Cancel prior to January 8, 2023 – receive a full refund minus the 4% convenience fee applied at check-out. If cancellation happens after January 8, 2023  – no refund. The penalty is 100% of the cost.
    • EQUIPMENT RENTALS
      • Cancel prior to  January 8, 2023  – receive a full refund minus the 4% convenience fee applied at check-out. If cancellation happens after January 8, 2023 – no refund. The penalty is 100% of the cost.
    • In order to prompt cancellation, please also indicate this in the portal under your profile. Head to the invoice page and select “Request to Cancel My Trip”.
    • Trip Transfer Policy
      • There is a $75 Transfer Fee for customers who transfer their trip to another traveler. The new traveler cannot be a registered customer. It must be a new person.
      • Prior to January 8, 2023 the following items are available for transfer: Lodging, Lift Tickets, Lessons, Equipment Rentals, Ground Transportation and Non-skier Activities. Flights are non-transferable.
      • Between January 8, 2023 and January 19, 2023 the following items are available for transfer: Lodging, Lift Tickets and Ground Transfers. The non-transferable items are Lessons, Equipment Rentals, Non-skier Activities and Flights.
      • Transfers are prohibited starting January 19, 2023. 
  • How do I transfer my package?
    • You will need to find another individual who isn’t already registered. Once you have them identified, send the following information to info@skisync.com:
      • Your Name, You Email (that you registered with Black Ski With)
      • The full name of the person you’re transferring to, their email
      • Include in subject line: Tuck Black Ski 2023 Transfer Request
    • Please be patient awaiting a response as our trip partners are handling quite a few inquiries during their busy season.
  • I have a problem or a question, who do I contact?
